Teddy's Prediction: Germany 3:1 win over Portugal

As we known, the third place competition always has a lot of goals because both teams do not have pressure in obtaining the title. Even they win or not, the result is third place only. Therefore, there is motivation to attack.

As Germany is the host country and the quality of the players is higher, they should be able to win Portugal on their soil.

KAHN Oliver will replace LEHMANN Jens as the first team goalkeeper but it doesn't mean LEHMANN Jens's performance is poor. What we worry is that FRIEDRICH Arne and MERTESACKER Per will not play in the third place competition as injury. However, the other players should able to defend Portugal's attack as their forwards are not strong enough.
