World Cup talks underway

Football Federation Australia chief John O'Neill has revealed preliminary discussions have begun regarding Australia making a bid to host the 2018 World Cup.

Speaking to the National Press Club in Canberra on Wednesday, O'Neill said FFA had held discussions with FIFA president Sepp Blatter and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) president Mohammed Bin Hammam.
